Kristin Martinez has an M.A. in counseling from La Sierra University and she is also a Board Certified Christian counselor. She received her certification from the AACC. Before counseling, she taught elementary education for 8 years. Seeing students struggle with divorce, anxiety, and depression ignited a fire to continue her education to help individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
Being a product of divorce, she gained a lot from individual counseling and building her toolbox. She believes the focus on mental health is undervalued in our society–and our busy lifestyles make it hard for people to cope with day-to-day life. She loves to equip people with tools to manage life’s challenges. She uses CBT, talk-therapy, and holistic healing to guide you along your journey of self-actualization.
